Students are required to purchase several required supplies before being sorted. The required supplies, as well as some suggested supplies, are listed below.
New members start with 100G. This amount will be enough to cover the basic required supplies, books and equipment for 3-5 subjects, and a cheap broom and pet--cheap being the optimum word. If you choose to do every subject and order the most expensive items, do not be surprised if you can't afford both a broom and pet!!
You can purchase all your required supplies in Diagon Alley, which you can get to through London, similar to as in the books.
Clothes
